CordSavings has had its own laboratory and storage centre since 2012, in the high-end Monthey building BioArk. We provide long-term storage of biological material, including cells, tissue, material for genetic analysis and liquids.

We offer this service in our entirely secure laboratory, in compliance with standards and regulations.

We store a wide range of biological samples for you

Eukaryotic cells are stored on our premises at very low temperatures: in nitrogen and in a very low temperature freezer.

We can stock a wide range of biological samples for you:

– Tissues
– Cells
– Material for genetic analysis
– Liquid samples

Our 55 m2 storage area has the capacity to store over 200,000 cryo vials (volume can be adjusted according to need). Our storage area contains cryogenic equipment (in liquid nitrogen vapour phase < -150°C) to enable our equipment to operate at temperatures below -150°C. Our equipment is qualified and top-of-the-range, and we operate a quality assurance system, particularly for our laboratory. We collect and store the uniquely valuable umbilical cord stem cells for you. They have the capacity to cure many diseases or regenerate organs. Over the last two decades, a number of very serious studies have shown that stem cells offer very promising results in medical and regenerative terms.
